Lisa Toscano, ATC, Ed. D., is currently an associate professor in the Kinesiology Department at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. A graduate of Manhattan College, she went on to earn her Masters in Exercise Physiology at Queens College and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. Prior to teaching, she was the Associate Head Athletic Trainer in the Manhattan College Sports Medicine Department, where she was responsible for the prevention, care and rehabilitation of 300 Division I athletes. Dr. Toscano’s research areas of interest include the prevention of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tears in young athletes and Falls Prevention in the Elderly.
